Discussion #2 - Article- Hospitality Industry in Coachella Valley

Dear Students,

Read the article and respond to the following questions.

1. Summarize the content in the article (2-3) paragraphs.
2. What recommendations would you provide to hospitality businesses given the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. How does this story pertain to this course?
4. Post the response to the above questions by Sunday,  February 27, 2021 at 11:59 pm.

Participation may require two items for each discussion question: 

Respond to the discussion question by Sunday at 11:59 pm. The response must demonstrate that the student has read the textbook and analyzed the topic. Analysis requires a student to apply the discussion topic to a new set of facts from his or her own experience. No credit will be given for simply repeating or rewording the textbook.   

Return to the discussion forum, read what other students are posting and provide comments and feedback to at least two of them per discussion question. The response to the other students, per discussion question, is due on Sunday by 11:59 pm. The responses to other students must be substantive and go beyond a mere “good job” or “I agree.”
