About Me

Why hello there! I'm the instructor for this course, Erin Graham. I am a desert native who graduated from Palm Springs High School, went to UCLA, then came back & started teaching. I taught English at Palm Springs High School for 17 years, & am currently a reflective coach for Palm Springs Unified, where I support new teachers through their first few years. I love getting to work with other teachers, but teaching English is definitely my first love. I've taught all levels (CP, Honors, AP, Dual Enrollment) and grades (9-12). Next year, I will be back in the classroom at PSUSD, & I am looking forward to it! This is my 12th year teaching English for COD, & I usually teach those classes online. I love it, & I hope you do too!

I know that these past few years have brought incredible trials, anxiety, & grief. I applaud you for continuing your education in the face of uncertainty, & I hope that this class helps you achieve your goals. I know that we will have interesting conversations & meaningful connections throughout the semester, & I'm really looking forward to getting to know each of you!

I'm married with no children (20 years in October!), although we do have 4 cats & 2 big dogs.
