Resume and cover letter assignment - You are to prepare a resume and cover letter as if you are applying for a Firefighter Paramedic position with the Palm Springs Fire Department located in California. We will assume that all of you have completed a fire academy and are paramedics for this assignment.

This is a two part assignment. Part 1 is to create a cover letter introducing yourself to the Fire Chief of Palm Springs and provide information about yourself that makes you a great candidate to be considered for employment. You will need to research this department and personalize your skills, education and experience around this organization. Your letter should be no longer than one page. You will be graded on spelling, grammar, sentence structure and content. (25 points)

Part 2 will be to create a resume listing your qualifications which should include your name, contact information, objective, education, work experience and special certificates or core values. Your resume should be no longer than one page. You will be graded on spelling, grammar, sentence structure and content. (25 points)
