Discussion Forum #1 - Course Syllabus Review and Reflection

Dear Students,

Please read the course syllabus, and subscribe to this post and complete the assignment by writing the following:

1. Provide a summary in 3-4 paragraphs (5-6 sentences each paragraph) providing the key highlights in the syllabus.
2. What you want to achieve by taking this course.
3. What is your major?  
4. Provide time management schedule for completing the course assignments.
5. How did you spend your summer break?
6. What is your favorite hobby?
7. What suggestions do you have for improving the syllabus?
8. Are there any roadblocks that will prevent you from achieving success in this course?  If so, what are they?
9. Students are to provide comments on two student posts.

The assignment is due on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 11:59 pm.

This assignment is worth 30 points total.  Review the rubric in the syllabus for the grading criteria.

3. Comment on posts submitted by two students.

Typing neatness, grammar, formatting and punctuation count. This is not an English class, however, as business professionals, you will be expected to produce professionally crafted written communication.

• Return to the discussion forum over the next few days and read what your fellow students are posting and provide comments and feedback to at least two of them per discussion question.

Your responses to other students should be substantive and go beyond a mere ‘good job’ or ‘I agree’. Most of the time, Think of the discussion forum as a classroom discussion. This will allow you to get to know other students better and have more class interaction.
