Self Promotional Artwork
The purpose of self-promotion is not only to attract new clients but is a way to stay in touch with existing ones. Customer retention is one of the key rules of business that certainly applies to the design business. The self-promotion of a designer can be elaborate and time-consuming or straightforward and efficient. Some seem to produce a series of mailings followed up by too many eager, cheerful calls and letters. It is possible to overdo self-promotion, so be considerate. Every message from you should have a valid reason for being sent–an outstanding project, an important new client, or a recent design award, for example. Stay flexible enough to allow for unexpected good news or changes within your office. The most important thing to remember is not to give up after the first mailing if you don't get the enthusiastic response you anticipated. Remain committed to continuing your program. Follow up. Follow up. Follow up. Before you start answer the following and post it in a google/word doc - save it as a pdf
