As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, employers are faced with mandating that employees work from home if the business is categized as non-essential.  Your challenge as an HR professional is to identify ways to keep employees motivated and engaged in work activities.

1.  As, an HR professional, you are in charge of the employee social committee. There is a total of 200 employees. You realize that working from home for employees may have created strain and more stress than COVID-19 has already created.  Halloween is coming up and an opportunity to create team building activities for remote workers.  Create a detailed plan of Halloween activities that will help with employee motivation and engagement. Include a timeline of activities to include the day and time that they will occur.

2.  Describe your communications plan on how you will bring all employees together for the employee gathering, e.g. Zoom Calls, breakout rooms, etc.

3.  Post a photo of you in your Halloween costume, share the character and your favorite Halloween candy.

4.  Indicate the relevancy to this course, (e.g. list chapter reference/s).
