Funeral: Reading and writing assignment

For next week (Nov.23),  begin reading Chapter 8, learning about Funerals, etc.  i am hoping we will have a guest speaker on Wednesday.

WRITING ASSIGNMENT:  Write your funeral.  You can have any kind of a funeral you like, so you might want to check out some different types of funerals.  This may sound morbid, but most students find it a rather enjoyable assignment  You can plan your music, the readings you'd like, where you might want to be buried, whether you want to be buried or cremated (or be put into a little space capsule, as some people have done!), sky burial; the possibilities are endless!  Some students have, when we were in person, included CD's of their music,  or DVD's of their lives!  

Your next assignment after that will be your Last WIll and Testament, which will put the capper on our class.  When you leave the class, you should be fairly well prepared, and, i hope, relieved!  i will give you a date for this assignment
