Canvas Settings for this course will require you to take actions on most of the tabs. Progressing through the Modules will require you to complete all of the Prerequisite before you can open a new Module.

PLEASE NOTE - Modules will be open and IF you can't access the next module, most of the time it is because on of the tabs in the previous Module has not been completed as noted below.

"Prerequisite" Settings:
- Each module may set criteria that must be met before you can access that particular module. This setting is used to sequence content and activities in the course so that you progress in a logical manner. So for example, you can open the following Module without any Prerequisites:
- Module 0: Orientation
- BUT you cannot access: "Module 1 - Weeks 1 & 2: Chapter 1:: Understanding Economic Systems and Business" without completing Module 0 first.

Requirements Settings:
- - Each Module/Chapter will require that you complete certain actions on various tabs in order to 'complete' that Module or Chapter. For example in Module 0: Orientation, BEFORE you can MOVE ON - you MUST complete the following actions on the tabs as follows:
  - Module 0 Overview - Start Here!: "Mark as Done"
  - About Our Class: "View the Item"
  - About Canvas: "View the Item"
  - My Canvas Settings: Prerequisites and Requirements: "Mark as Done"
  - Course Syllabus and Introductory PowerPoint: "Mark as Done"
  - About Your Instructor: "View the Item"
  - Student Learning Objectives: "Mark as Done"
  - Link to Free Textbook: "View the Item"

AND THIS FORMAT continues through the Module - Assessments Require More...

- - Access Accommodation: "View the Item"
  - Introductory Discussion About You: "Contribute to the Page"
  - Etc

This format of Prerequisites and Requirements will continue throughout the course. As you will learn from my syllabus, unless I've made a 'settings error', every Module and Assignment, once opened, will remain available throughout the semester. So if you cannot access it, most likely it is because you have not completed one of the Prerequisites or Requirements.
