You have been active in the product market either purchasing goods and services or influencing the purchases of your family and friends.
You have benefited from tax cuts and stimulus or wondered why not.
You recognize inflation when prices go up.
You have seen years where unemployment is high and also ies when employment is high and jons easy to get.
You have been active in the factor market supplying labor or energy or creativity to projects or supplying capital by depositing money in a savings account or stock fund.
You having been coping with how maximize scarce resources like time, money and energy in order to get the most out of life.
You have figured out trade-offs, like taking an afternoon off so you can study or cutting class you can work depending whether the grade or the money is of immediate concern.
You have been swayed by advertising to try products or services and figured out whether they were worth it.

Microeconomics is nothing more than the art and science of choice in the face of scarcity while seeking happines and satisfaction. Each of us experiences these choices differently but different choices are just different and neither bad nor good. If all choices were the same they wouldn't be interesting. We will have lots to talk about as we try to figure out how to maximize our choices by using the tools and concepts of Microeconomics.

It is important that in economics the best answer is always "it depends". We will talk more about this.
