PART I

If talkative men are viewed as powerful and competent, why do you think talkative women are seen as less capable and pushy? Do you think this perception would be different in an organization with a large percentage of female managers at top levels?

PART II

Why do you think research has found that women receive less harsh feedback than men during performance reviews? How might that affect a woman’s career? Explain.

PART III

Describe how diversity of thought boosts creativity and innovation in the workplace. Why do managers consider diversity of thought to be a competitive advantage?

PART IV

Have you ever worked in a diverse team setting before? If so, did you encounter any attitudes or behaviors that could potentially cause conflict? If not, how would you manage conflict stemming from diversity?

Formatting: Size 12, Courier New font; 1.5 space per line; Standard margins. At least two points will be deducted from your score if you fail to follow formatting guidelines.
