CHAPTER 9 OVERVIEW

This chapter discusses the different types of training fire fighters can expect to receive over the course of their careers. It also discusses the personnel and positions that make up a training bureau, the value and importance of training in the fire service, how adequate training levels and performance standards are determined, and the importance of safety in training.
