Week Nine Tasks

In week nine we will:

• Read the Preschool Program Guidelines Chapter 8 - Guideline #6 - Promoting Health, Safety and Nutrition- pages 155- 160
• Complete the Head Start Forward: Health and Safety Considerations Webinar Links to an external site.
• Discuss the importance of helping families raise healthy children.  
• Reflect on program elements related to health, safety, and nutrition. 
• Complete the What a Preschool Could Be...  assignment. I provided instructions last week during office hours.

By the end of week nine students will: 

• Apply licensing standards of health and safety to preschool and child development program settings.
