Mid-semester notes and reminders!

Wow!! We are at week 8 already. Middle of the semester. 

You will get a message from me about how you are doing in class. If your current grade is a C or below, you are required to meet with me virtually to see what I can do to help. I will reach out to you personally to set up a time that will work for both of us. 

If you are earning an A or B, keep up the great work! I encourage you to reach out to me as well if you have any questions or concerns, but it is not required. 

I would like you to take about five minutes and complete the mid-semester survey. Links to an external site. There are only a few questions and it helps me to improve the class. (It is anonymous.) 

We will begin the Portfolio assignment this week and we will be working on it for the next eight weeks.  I have instructions in the assignments module and you can always log into my virtual office hours for help.

Beginning this week, students who log into the virtual office hours and complete the activity will not have to complete a discussion thread! More about that when we meet.
