Students completing this assignment will be demonstrating their mastery of Student Learning Outcome:
Compare and contrast historical and current early childhood education perspectives, theories, program types, and philosophies.
Each student will research and present on an assigned person or movement for this project.
Students will be required to choose a topic/figure in week two. The project is due at the end of week three, so you will have two weeks to complete.
I will post a list of choices in week two for you to sign up for your choice. It will be on a wiki-page. Look for it in the week two module. First come first served.
You will research outside of the text for your facts to share. Be sure that you have checked out our Libguide Links to an external site.

Once you have gathered your information, you will do three things:
- Create a presentation that shares what you learned. It can be any form that works for you, a video, an audio, a Powtoon, a PowerPoint, or a good old-fashioned essay ( no more than one full page). Be sure you include a citation sharing where you found your information.
- Share your work on the Padlet Timeline, linked below.
- Copy it into the assignment text box for grading.
Be sure it has been checked for spelling and grammar and reflects your best work! Don't forget that the TASC is always there to help! Turn in your draft to the tutors for help with spelling and grammar checks.
Post to the Padlet by clicking on the pink plus sign at the bottom right. Be sure to include your name on the post.
