Late work
I am going to tell you a secret: Students who do the work on time for this class pass this class. That is the secret. That’s it.
That is all you have to do: the work. It shouldn’t really be a surprise, though, that to become a better writer you have to write. To write, you have to read things to know what to write about. To find what to read, you have to research. This does take time, but I believe it is time well spent!
You may be able to do all the work for this class well in less time. And some weeks you will not need to spend 12 hours on this class. But some weeks, you may need to spend more. So plan now how you will work this class into your schedule!
There is a great tool available at http://apps.3cmediasolutions.org/oei/tools/daily-schedule.html to help you plan your study schedule and one of your first tasks this week should be to fill this out. Setting good habits in Week One will help ensure your success in this class.
Late Work Policy
As a courtesy, notify me via email that your work will be late prior to the due date. If you email me after the due date, it may not be accepted and you may lose additional points on the assignment.
Please don't just write a note when you submit the assignment.
This must be done as an email, using your mycod.us account.
Reference the assignment name in the subject line and just tell me that the work will be late.
Then when you complete the work, you will need to email me again, telling me that the work is complete and has been submitted to Canvas. I do not go back to constantly check that you have posted your work.
It is your responsibility to tell me your work has been submitted.
To proceed through the modules, you can use the Next button, which is always located near the lower right hand corner of the page.
