How this Course Works

This course is taught entirely online.

If you have technical issues with CANVAS, you can get help 24/7 by calling (877) 930-1129, or click on the HELP icon from the main CANVAS menu (it is at the bottom and is a large Question Mark!).

You want to get started by watching the orientation video. It will show you a bit about the class and how to navigate our CANVAS learning management system.

You will read class notes, watch instructional videos and do assignments on a weekly basis by referring to the class schedule. This gives you a flexible study schedule but also requires self-discipline and independent study. You will also be required to participate in the class discussion area on a weekly basis.

Because of the amount of material covered in this class, students will be required to be comfortable with a mouse, opening and saving files, web browsing, uploading/downloading files, and the ability to send and receive e-mail with attachments. These requirements must be met before attempting to take this online course.

Other requirements that also need to be met to take this class include textbook, related online accounts, hardware & software needs.
