This course is designed to help you prepare to start your own business and update your portfolio for a creative career.

Whether you are a graphic designer, painter, illustrator, architect, sculptor animator, photographer, content creator, film editor, or similar, you need a portfolio to show potential clients and employers what you can do.

Over the next 8 weeks, you will look at what you have already created and show your portfolio. There is no book for this course but a lot of weekly lecture videos combined with assignments, discussions, and projects.

This class uses LinkedIn Learning Path. You will receive an email from LinkedIn that will give you access to the videos I have selected for this course. 

The course is set up in eight modules. They are as follows:

4. Adobe Certified Professional
5. Starting Your Own Business
6. Marketing
7. Managing Your Business
8. Portfolio Show

Although this course does not officially start until Monday, however, I want you to be prepared, get your feet wet, and explore.  The Modules 1 is open so you can get started. This course will go fast so please stay on top of the content and assignments. The content I have assembled in this course will give you the tools to do so because I believe in you to succeed.
