Week 8 Video Homework: Deaf introduction

READ COMPLETELY:

Meeting and signing with a Deaf person is a very important experience.  Many of your answers will give the Deaf person an indication of your signing skills.  

Deaf Introduction: As demonstrated in my video on the instructor guidance page, Sign the first question in the ASL column and follow it up with the answer in full (not one sign). Then go to the next sentence in the ASL column, and so on.  ALWAYS use the correct NMMs.  

For example: HELLO YOU NAME WHAT?     ME NAME B-I-L-L.

Your answers for the last two questions should be different.  Where you are FROM is generally where you were born and raised.

Where you live is where you reside now.

For example:     RHODE ISLAND ME FROM ME.

                                PALM SPRINGS ME LIVE ME.

If you happen to live where you were born, then you would say you are from CALIFORNIA and live in whatever town you now reside.

IMPORTANT: for the answers to # 1, 6, and 8 you must fingerspell your answers.  (This is for fingerspelling grading).
