Week 1 Video Assignment: Fingerspelling

Prepare 

Read and view the student workbook and fingerspelling lessons, practice the ASL alphabet handshapes and fingerspelling.  Follow the visual setting described below.

Video Assignment Visual Settings:

Stand Up

Have enough distance between the camera and signer.

Plain background

Solid clothing

Tie up long hair

No hats

No gum or candy in your mouth

BE SURE THE CAMERA IF FAR ENOUGH AWAY FROM YOU SO YOUR FULL SIGNING SPACE IS IN VIEW (from slightly above your head to slightly below your waist - SEE VIDEO).

Think about the guidelines in order to fingerspelling properly.
