You have the option to submit a personal career plan or a business plan. Your selection depends upon your personal goals. This is either working as an employee for wages or owning your own business for wages. Below is the description for each assignment. Please use the writing rubric as a guide.

Personal Career Plan - Due 11/28/21 - Provide 1-2 pages using the outline below.
Review the Occupational Handbook from the Bureau of Labor Statistics and identify one career that you are interested in pursuing.
Personal Career Plan: Students must submit a Personal Career Plan due. It may take a lot of time to prepare this, so please plan ahead. More information, directions, resources, and an example are provided on the Canvas module “Personal Career Plan”.
Start with the specific job title, salary range, job description, and required education/certification followed with employment data in a three-paragraph paper due on 11/28/21 at 11:59 PM.
Paragraph one discusses the industry in which you are interested with specific factual data.
Paragraph two discusses a particular company within that industry with specific factual data.
Paragraph three discusses a particular job within that company with specific factual data.
Cite your references and attach one printed and highlighted article about employment in the industry.
Also, make sure to include the following for each career interest.

Review Chapter 5 - Small Business, Entrepreneurship and Franchises
There are to be 12 sections to your business plan. When creating the business plan, keep it easy to read, uncluttered and complete. The business plan should answer four questions. 1) What exactly is the nature and mission of the new venture? 2) Why is this new enterprise a good idea? 3) What are the business person's goals? 4) How much will the new venture cost?
