Module 11 (Apr 19 - 25): Overview
Welcome to Module 11! The list below outlines what you need to do this week.
- Read Chapter 11 of American Government (Congress) and Chapters 3 from California Politics.
- Check out the supplemental resources available to you on the next Module page.
- Then read the Week 11 discussion prompt and respond with your initial post (your answer to my prompt) by 11:59pm on Friday. Two thoughtful follow-ups are due in the Module 11 discussion forum by 11:59pm on Sunday. The discussion board closes after the Sunday deadline so no late posts will be accepted.
- Complete the Module 11 Quiz by Sunday 11:59pm
By completing this week's reading and assignments, you will achieve the following Course Objective:
- State how the legislative, judicial, and executive branches of the Federal system are organized, including the powers that reside in each.
Any general questions should be posted to the Q&A Forum. If you message me a general question, I will tell you to post to the Q&A Forum. By asking a question and receiving an answer (either from me or your classmates) in this forum, you will help other students who have the same question-just like in a face-to-face class!
If you have a personal concern or private matter to discuss now or at any time throughout the semester, you must message me via the Canvas Inbox. The surest way to get a quick response from me regarding a private matter is the Canvas Inbox. I do not check my COD email as frequently as I do Canvas and thus your email will likely get lost among several others. Canvas is also the best way to send secure messages that contain personal/private information.
