Welcome to Module 9! The list below outlines what you need to do this week. 

 

  • Read Chapter 9 of American Government (Political Parties).
  • Check out the supplemental resources available to you on the next Module page.
  • Then read the Module 9 discussion prompt and respond with your initial post (your answer to my prompt) by 11:59pm on Friday. Two thoughtful follow-ups are due in the Week 9 discussion forum by 11:59pm on Sunday. 
  • Complete the Week 9 Quiz by Sunday 11:59pm

By completing this week's reading and assignments, you will achieve the following Course Objective:

  • Identify and critically evaluate the role of political parties and interest groups in the process of government at the Federal level.

By asking a question and receiving an answer (either from me or your classmates) in this forum, you will help other students who have the same question-just like in a face-to-face class!
