  • Read Chapter 6 of American Government (Public Opinion).
  • Check out the supplemental resources available to you on the next Module page.
  • Then read the Module 6 discussion prompt and respond with your initial post (your answer to my prompt) by 11:59pm on Friday. Two thoughtful follow-ups are due in the Week 6 discussion forum by 11:59pm on Sunday. 
  • Complete the Module 6 Quiz by Sunday at 11:59pm
  • If you have time, please take the ungraded, anonymous Week 6 Survey.

By completing this week's reading and assignments, you will achieve the following Course Objective:

  • Identify both the ways in which public opinion affects the governmental process and explain how it may develop to the point that it is an influential factor in these processes.
