Metacognition, thinking about thinking, means that we monitor our progress. Can we take what we've learned and use it in a real-life context. This journal activity requires you to use the reported speech that we've studied in this module.
1. Listen to this radio piece Links to an external site.about emoji use.
Write 2 sentences about what you learned using reported speech. Follow the example below:
"In this radio piece, Eric (the host) asked Tyler (the guest) what he liked to eat for dinner. Tyler answered that he liked pizza for dinner."
2. Tell me your personal opinion about using emojis. Do you use them? How often? Why? When is it NOT ok to use emojis? Should you use emojis when you email professors in a university? Should you use them in professional emails?
