About Me

Hello students, 

After 30 years teaching Spanish, I retired and started tutoring in an ESL program in my community.  I enjoyed it so much that I decided to return to college to get a master's degree (at age 53....it's never too late!)  to update my skills and begin a new career teaching ESL. 

I spent most of my former career living in the cold, snowy Midwest and am very happy to be in the desert. I have taught at College of the Desert since January, 2019.   I love teaching here and working with ESL students to help them achieve their goals.
