Blogger - The Blog Beautician - How to Customize the Look of Your Blog

Hola Estudiantes,

I hope you are having as much fun developing your blog as I am.

Today I encourage you to create a personal touch for the look of your blog.

Here is what I suggest. Customize the template of your blog: 

I. Choose a theme to use

1. Sign in to Blogger Links to an external site..
2. In the top left, click the Down arrow .
3. Click a blog to update.
4. In the left menu, click Theme.
5. Click the theme you want to use.
6. In the bottom right, click Apply to Blog.
7. Optional: To save a copy of your theme, in the top right, click Backup/Restore  Download theme. 

II. Follow the Blog Beautician

1. Go to her Youtube site: Blogger For Total Newbies | Template Editor and Features Walkthrough Links to an external site.2. See how she brings her blog to life.

Jay's Note: Work at your own pace.  Choose 1-2 goals to work on at each sitting.

For Example:  I just learned how to enhance Mecha's homepage for her blog "Pearls of Wisdom."

a. I learned how to change the color and font of the blog title

b. I learned how to create a blog description- It looks like very professional item to have it running across the page below your title.

c. I learned how to bring in pearls into the background - it's not that hard!

This is going to be great.  You will see.
