Blogger - Stuff We've Been Reading - Jay's Jumpstart -2

I have a great way for you to boost your grade and your blog.

* Today I ask you to upload THREE SNIPS of your "Stuff We've Been Reading" Blog Posts.

* For grading purposes, I need to see your snips, one after another - you will have to learn how to snip them and how to upload them into CANVAS.

* Above is a sample snip of Hissie's post for Girl, Interrupted.

Here is what you do:

1. Watch this video: "How to Use Snipping Tool (Beginners Guide)"

2. This is how Hissie did it:

a. Open up your blog post that you want to snip for this canvas assignment:

2. Find the Snipping Tool on your computer - Look for the search window at the bottom of your screen ( You may have to locate the 4-square "Start" icon):

3. Once you have found the search window, type in "snipping tool"

4. This is what we are looking for - the snipping tool!

5. Click on "New" - this will lighten up your screen - make it look blurry - this is GOOD!

* Now drag the cursor around the portion of the screen that you want to snip

6. OK! Now you have to SAVE your SNIP.

* You can either click on "file" or you can click on the "file" icon.

7. Save your SNIPS in a file. You may want to use one of them again later.

8. Once you have all your SNIPS together, it will be easy to upload them to your CANVAS assignment - TAKE THE POINTS!
