* Today I teach you how to add to the professional look of your blog.
* We will learn to arrange our posts with labels and tabs.
This is what you will need to get started:
* "Stuff We've Been Reading" Page - Start with a page in layout
* "Stuff We've Been Reading" Post - Start with a post of your reading (Sandra Cisneros) - This is where you will learn how to create a "label."
Jay's Tip: Be Patient. Let's Make It Work. This is Going to Be Great.
* Below, I provide you the step-by-step process Ana Lucia took to get hers done.

This is What You Do:
1. Go to your Dashboard ( Go to the "B") - Click on "Posts"
2. Go to the Post You Want to Label -
2.5 Click to "Edit" - to open up your post
3. Click "Labels" under "Post Settings"
4. Click on "Labels" - This will open up a box for you to insert your label
* Today, I suggest "Stuff We've Been Reading" (Leave the quotation marks out!)
* Believe me, you will have plenty to post this semester - It will be Great!
5. Don't Forget to click on "Done."
6. Don't Forget to click on "Update"
7. Now when you check for the post in your dashboard, you should see the label (it's a link!)
8. Now when you "view the blog, you will see your "Stuff We've Been Reading" label beneath your post ( it's a link!)
9. We are almost there: Click on your "Stuff We've Been Reading" link
* grab (copy) the address from the top of the page.
* mine looks like this: thedoublelife44.blogspot.com/search/label/Stuff%20We%27ve%20Been%20Reading
* Please note: I left out this "http" stuff on purpose!
10. Go to "Layout" - You have to click back on "The B"
11. Go to "Pages" - Go to "Edit"
12. You are now in "Configure Page List"
* In my example I already have a "homepage"
* If you don't have one, we will get you one - I'll help you later
* But, you could do this right now for "Stuff We've Been Reading" page
12.5 Add External Link:
13 Add your "Stuff We've Been Reading" page title in the box provided
* The wording has to be EXACTLY like your label - check for capitals and spelling.
14. Add your Web address (URL) in the box provided
* This is the one from step nine - you have already copied it. Remember?
* mine looks like this: thedoublelife44.blogspot.com/search/label/Stuff%20We%27ve%20Been%20Reading
* this what it looks like when I copy and paste it in the box:
* Don't forget to "Save Link"
15. Now when I revisit my "Configure the Page" List, I see this:
16. When you "view the blog" you should see something like this:
17. When you click on "Stuff We've Been Reading," you should see something like this:
