Discussion Board #3.05 - Tuff-Stuff First Draft – TYPED – MLA Format

Here I want you to submit your first draft.  Please use the following guidelines:

• Use MLA format – see p 149 in Little Seagull for appropriate model

• Don’t forget cool, interesting, eye-catching title!
• Review first two paragraphs with tutor – you can work in groups with Mrs. Roberts in the lab – take advantage of the extra credit points. 

Here is what you do:

Introductory paragraph – ¾ page (typed)

• Summarize the experience.  Let your reader know where you are coming from.
• Go to Discussion Board #2.25

First Support – ¾ page (typed)

• Emphasize cause or effect
• Go to Discussion Board #2.5

 Second Support – ¾ page (typed)

• Emphasize a specific CAUSE or a specific EFFECT
• Go to Discussion Board #2.75 
• Conclusion – ¾ page (typed)
• Emphasize lesson learned
• Discuss where you are at now in your life
• Go to Discussion Board #2.95

Don’t Forget:

• Insert image at the top of your post
• Reply to two classmates
