Jay's Tips: How to Create Your Own Picture File in CANVAS

Estimados Estudiantes,

WELCOME TO THE CLUB!

This semester you will be submitting work each week on our CANVAS discussion board.

* I ask you to post an image at the top of each submission.  Here is how:

(I hope this works.  I copied and pasted the announcement from a previous class - It worked for them!)

Estimados Estudiantes

Today, I try to show you how to make a picture file for your CANVAS account. This should make things quick and easy to upload images to your CANVAS posts.

*  All you will have to do is click icon - images-2.png

*  Then  click on "Canvas":  icon - image source - blank - Copy.png

*  Here is where you will find your own personal "my files":

And, Voila! You are ready to rock...

Here is what I did to make this happen:

* I clicked on "Account" on my menu bar:   icon - profile picture-1.png

* I clicked on "Files":   icon - files.png

* I clicked on "Folder":   icon - folder - pictures.png

* I typed the name of my folder in the box provided: icon - name of the folder.png

* I now have something that looks like this:      icon - jay's canvas pictures.png

* To upload pictures, I clicked on "Jay's CANVAS pictures," and then I clicked on "Upload":

icon - folder - pictures-1.png

* I searched my computer for the picture I wanted:

* After I made my selection, I saw this in "Jay's CANVAS pictures"

* This will be cool.  I have a place now to save and organize my images.  I know my file will come in handy later.   I plan to use some of these same images in my class blog.

Hope this helps,

Paz,

JL
