Each of these modules will help you become a more successful online learner. Before you embark, we’ll tell you a little more about the first 4 modules.

 

Level 1 Assessment IconModule 1  - Strengths and Weaknesses

Take the SmarterMeasure assessment. This assessment will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses— and the obstacles you’ll need to overcome as an online learner. After completing your assessment and carefully reviewing your results you will need to return to this Quest workshop where additional resources will be available for you to explore.

Prepare for your journey into online learning.  Here you will discover what online learning is like. For those of you who may have never taken an online course, this section will help enlighten you about what lies ahead

Level 3 - Tech IconModule 3 - Getting Tech Ready

Get to know your technology!  This module is essential for those of you who might need a little guidance about what it means to be “tech ready.” We’ll clue you in as to what tools you’ll need to take a class online and bring you up to speed on tech jargon so you can speak to the digital natives. This module is primarily for the new online learner pathway especially those students who scored in the moderate or low range on the Tech Competency and Tech Skills Smarter Measure sub-tests.

Level 4 - Study Skills IconModule 4 - Becoming an Effective Online Learners

Build some basic skills like getting organized, managing your time and online communication in this level, so you can hit the ground running when your online class begins. Great for all students especially those who scored low or moderate on the Life Factors, Learning Styles, Personal Attributes, or Reading Skills SmarterMeasure sub-tests.
