• You can buy or rent textbooks from the College Bookstore Links to an external site., which is located in the Cravens Student Services Building. COD's bookstore will also price match your books and you can learn more by going to their website.

Student Support Services

• Admissions and Records: Links to an external site. Oversees admission, registration, evaluation, graduation, and academic records/transcripts.
• Assessment Testing: Links to an external site. Offers a variety of assessments to assist you in choosing the appropriate classes.
• Financial Aid: Links to an external site. Provides information about grants, loans, work study, and other resources to help students and families bridge the gap between their personal resources and the cost of attending college.
• Career and Workforce Solutions Center:  Links to an external site.The mission of the Career and Workforce Solutions Center is to enhance student success by empowering students with the tools and skills necessary to be active participants in their career development. 
• Counseling:  Links to an external site.Provides programs and services that can help students reach their goals, including assistance in completing a required Student Educational Plan (SEP).
• Disabled Students Programs and Services: Links to an external site. Offers counseling, specialized instruction and classroom accommodations to students with a verified disability.
• Health Services: Links to an external site. Student Health Services are available to support registered students in achieving their educational goals by maintaining optimum physical, mental and emotional health. Most services are free for COD students. 
• The McCarthy Center: Links to an external site. The Childcare Center at COD serves children from 12 months to 5 years, with priority for the children of COD students carrying at least 6 credits.
• Transfer Center: Links to an external site.Provides services to help you plan for transfer to a four-year university.
• Veterans Services:  Links to an external site.The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) provides critical service and support for our veterans; active‐duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel, their spouses and dependents; and faculty and staff.
